WHAT’S COMING TO FLORIDA: EDC Orlando Starts TODAY — Plus Warped Tour, Art Basel, and Boat Parade Season
By Staff Reports
ORLANDO — If you think Florida slows down after summer, think again. From this weekend through the holidays, the state is stacked with festivals, art, country music, and boats covered in Christmas lights. Here is what is coming — and why each one is worth your time.
EDC Orlando — November 6–8, Tinker Field, Orlando. It starts TODAY. The Electric Daisy Carnival is back for its 15th Orlando edition: more than 100 artists across five stages, with David Guetta headlining Friday, Kaskade on Saturday, and Martin Garrix and Hardwell closing Sunday. Gates run 1 p.m. to midnight, and it is 18+. Why you should care: this is the biggest electronic music weekend in the Southeast, part festival, part carnival, all spectacle. Friday and Saturday single-day passes sold out early; three-day GA passes were running about $337 with fees — check Insomniac’s official EDC Orlando site for what is left.
Vans Warped Tour — November 14–15, Camping World Stadium, Orlando. The pop-punk institution closes out its 2026 comeback run right here in Florida — Orlando is the final stop of the whole tour. Expect Sublime, Jimmy Eat World, Simple Plan, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, and Dropkick Murphys across two all-ages days, gates at 11 a.m. Why you should care: if you grew up on this music, this is the nostalgia weekend of the year, and Florida gets the tour’s last word.
St. Pete Country Fest — November 20–22, St. Petersburg. Three days of country music on the bay the weekend before Thanksgiving. Check the festival’s official site for the lineup and ticket details as they post.
Art Basel Miami Beach — December 4–6, Miami Beach. The art world takes over Miami Beach: gallery shows, pop-ups, parties, and some of the best people-watching on the planet. Why you should care: even if you never buy a single painting, Basel week turns the whole city into one giant opening night.
Winterfest Boat Parade — December 12, Fort Lauderdale. Dozens of boats decked out in Christmas lights cruise the Intracoastal while crowds line the banks. It is free to watch from shore, and the viewing parties along the route sell out early — plan ahead.
That is just the next five weeks. Florida’s calendar does not quit, and neither do we.
