THE CHAMPS HAVE THEIR OWN PLANE: Panthers and JetBlue Unveil the ‘Go Cats Go’ Jet

By Staff Reports

The back-to-back Stanley Cup champions now have their own airplane.

JetBlue and the Florida Panthers unveiled a special-edition Airbus A320 named “Go Cats Go” at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Thursday — Panthers colors, logos and team history wrapped around a full-size jet. GM Bill Zito, captain Aleksander Barkov and forward Brad Marchand were on hand for the reveal.

The plane is the latest piece of an expanded partnership: JetBlue is Broward County’s largest airline, and at Amerant Bank Arena it presents the reimagined Champions Club and the JetBlue Landing fan area. The partnership also backs a reading program for Broward County school students. The livery is expected to stay on the aircraft for at least five years as it flies JetBlue’s network out of South Florida.

The Panthers — the NHL’s southernmost team and winners of the 2024 and 2025 Stanley Cups — are in their 33rd season and looking like contenders again.

So what’s next for Florida’s NHL champions — a three-peat run, or is the rest of the league catching up? Tell us in the comments.
